These Cantos consist of 108 mixed media drawings, each 11" x 15". They may be read as topographical maps and as a visual record of experiences on the site where I live and work. The images reference processes such as constructing a circumambulation path, using that path for contemplative practice, and observing natural phenomena such as flora, fauna, and the various manifestations of water, especially clouds, snow, and ice. Another theme that pervades the Cantos is expressed in urn forms that acknowledge suffering and death, grief and loss.
